Okay, now that I have your attention: HI!! Welcome to my blog. I LOVE books. I love reading them, buying them, talking about them, sometimes even smelling them (#bookwormproblems). If you want book recs, info on author talks and events, and to know what it’s like to attend Comic Con, this is the place for you.

Since Book Minded Mag was founded, I have done my best to read and recommend a diverse array of books. I can admit that for a long time, I mostly read the “classics” and enjoyed them very much (except for Catcher in the Rye). Now, I make it a habit of reading works by various authors. From Toni Morrison to Charles Dickens, Natalie Diaz to Tina Chang, Akwaeke Emezi to Haruki Murakami, I leave my mind open to new and established authors from different countries, genres and backgrounds. I hope you enjoy the site and leave it wanting to read more books.
